A Chance to See Nature and Do Your Prayers

Kruger National Park in South Africa has finally reunited with its long-awaited mosque on the 3rd of December. The national park is located between the clock tower and the library, which are among the busiest places in the city.
The manager of the park made the following statement:
Majority of the park’s visitors are Muslims. We realized their need for a place of worship and tried to meet this.
The park administration did not neglect to add a fountain next to the mosque. With this gesture or opening a mosque, the park administration intends to embrace Muslims from diverse cultures. The verse printed of the banner, as seen on the image, has added a nice touch.
And that masjids (mosques) belong to Allah; so, do not invoke anyone along with Allah

While giving the good news of the mosque, let us also talk about the number of Muslims in South Africa. Approximately 1.5% of its population is Muslim and this figure corresponds to 100,000 people. When Muslims coming from outside the country is added to this population, the need for a large population to pray for a place becomes prominent. And the result is a small yet friendly mosque 🙂
