99 Names of Allah in 99 Days Second Week Summary
99 names of Allah will try to be understood 99 days before Ramadan through the project started by Jenny Molendyk Divleli with the hashtag #99namesproject2022. The goal of the project shared by Jenny Molendyk on her Instagram account is to understand, learn and repeat one of the names of Allah each day until Ramadan. Showing the effort is so meaningful both in terms of getting together as a family in such an event and teaching children the beautiful names of Allah.
Alhamdulillah, we have reached lots of people on this path and we have already completed the second week of the process. We hope the week was beneficial for everyone. So, let’s look at what we did during the week.

Day 8: Al-Muhaymin
Meaning: The One who witnesses the saying and deeds of His creatures.
The One who observes His creation with regards to their actions. It is also The One Who offers peace and security and The Trustworthy One who proclaims the Truth. He is the One who always watches us and looks after us.

Day 10: Al-Jabbar
Meaning: The Compeller, The Restorer, The Repairer.
Al-Jabbar (in Arabic: ٱلْجَبَّارُ) is the 10th name of Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ meaning the highest. Whatever He decrees will come to pass without fail. He restores all of creation. He heals the broken hearted, binds their wounds, and brings comfort to the weak. He compels each and everything to his divine will but is never Himself compelled.

Day 11: Al-Mutakabbir
Meaning: The Supreme, The Majestic
The One who is clear from the attributes of the creatures and from resembling them.
Al-Mutakabbir (in Arabic: ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ) means the supremely great one. He is exalted far above all creation. He has rights and privileges, and attributes that others do not have. He is truly great and manifests this greatness in all things and many ways.

O Allah, Al-Mutakabbir, we know that You are supremely Great. Guide our hearts and actions to humility towards You, our Deen and Your creation. Protect us from arrogance and assist us to ways to cure any arrogance that entered our hearts. Make us of those who are blessed to witness Your Grandeur in Paradise, ameen!

Day 12: Al-Khaaliq
Meaning: The One who brings everything from non-existence to existence.
Al Khaaliq (in Arabic: ٱلْخَالِقُ) He is the one who creates things from nothing with no precedents. He creates what He pleases and in a perfect manner. He is the only one who determines when, how, and what to create and does so from nothing.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Each of you should ask for his needs from Allah, even if the strap of your sandal breaks, because if Allah does not facilitate it, it will never be possible. [At-Tirmidhi] No evil eye, magic, or any force on earth can prevent what Al-Khaaliq has destined to come into existence. Firawn tried his best to prevent Musa ‘alayhi sallam from coming into being and growing up to destroy his kingdom, but when Al-Khaaliq decides to create something it will be! So ask Him for all your needs and wishes.

From the root b-r-‘ which has the following classical Arabic connotations: to create, to form out of nothing, to manifest, to create using pre-existing matter, evolve, to be individual free and clear of another thing, to be free and clear of fault or blemish.

Day 14: Al-Musawwir
Meaning: The One who forms His creatures in different pictures.
Allah is Al-Musawwir (in arabic: ٱلْمُصَوِّرُ) meaning He brings into existence whatever he wills and in whatever manner He wills it. He says, kun faya kun, “Be! and it is”. He is the fashioner of every creation and has given it a special form whereby it is distinguished.
The One who is the Fashioner and Former of each and every thing in all of creation. It is the One who has given everything in creation a special inclination of desire and a special form and a special manner whereby it is.
