Covid-19 has pretty much changed our lives. For the last 5 months, there has been an epidemic of viruses that have had a major impact on every aspect of our lives, from health to education, technology to religious life, psychology to sociology. We continue fighting this pandemic both socially and individually with measures we have taken.
Some of the measures taken so far include those on international travel. Especially at the beginning of this pandemic process, those who came who had entered our country from abroad were hosted for 14 days in state dormitories under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. During these periods, no needs of any of the guests staying in the dorms were neglected and they were served, by the staff, in comfort and safety in the rooms where they were staying. So much so that many tools and equipment were provided, from books that the guests would read to the sports equipment they needed during their stay. Some guests felt great gratitude and loyalty for the service they had experienced. With our news report today, we hope to convey the goodness shown by a citizen who has been hosted here due to pandemic measures taken.
An unnamed citizen left a note with 400 euros in the Quran he found in the room where he was staying. The note read that, he gave the money to the students, as a thank you, for giving up their dorm rooms, while also asking them to give their blessing for their sacrifice. After the 14 days stay, the officials who came to clean the room forwarded the note they found to the dormitory authorities.
With such acts of goodness, we send our thanks to this unnamed citizen for making us smile during the pandemic process and wish them healthy days.
