As we can see from the above-mentioned hadith, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) advises us to treat animals with gentleness. We witness the value Islam places on animals here and in other places. In this news article, we will share with you how a dedicated group of volunteers came together for cats and saved an animal.
According to the volunteers from the Lebanese Animal Rescue Association, a rescue operation involving people was carried out in the capital city of Beirut, Lebanon. As reported, a small cat trapped in a pipe blocked by rainwater was rescued.
The deputy president of the Lebanese Animal Association, Maci Shiravi, stated in an interview with Roturz TV that two days ago, a cat gave birth on the roof of a building, and when one of the building residents did not want the cat and its kittens in the building and chased them away, one of the kittens got stuck in the rain gutter on the roof.
The deputy president mentioned that efforts had been made to rescue the cat for some time. Eventually, with the help of video cameras, the teams were able to rescue the kitten from its location. The problem, which led to the gathering of animal volunteers, people, and even some politicians and Beirut authorities, was resolved with the cat’s rescue.
As seen, the way we treat animals can cause them pain. Therefore, let us approach them with compassion and gentleness.
